Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Swagman XC2 two bike platform rack here today on our 2012 Honda Accord. Now, guys, it can be a very nice decent way of getting yourself started to get your bikes wherever you wanna go. What's great about the XC2, not gonna be too expensive, so it's not gonna be breaking the bank, however, you're still getting a nice stable platform to actually get your bikes to where you wanna go, 'cause that's the name of the game, right When we get there, we wanna get there safe and with our bikes in working order, and that's what we're gonna get with this guy. You are seeing frame mount holds on here though. So this is gonna kind of eliminate you from carrying your carbon frame bikes. If that's something you really wanna look forward to, you are probably gonna have to start getting into more expensive bike racks, more higher end options. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Honda Accord- Video
Hello, everybody Clayton here at Etrailer. Today, we're going to be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro Four Bike Hanging-style Rack on our 2021 Honda Accord. Now our rack can carry up to four bikes, but since we only have a class-one hitch we're going to be very limited to two bikes. So you do want to keep that in mind, but since this does work with two inch hitches as well, if you do have another vehicle with a hitch, you can throw the adapter on and it'll work just fine with your other vehicle. And you can probably get four bikes on it. Like I said, it is going to work with inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube openings. more

Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Honda Accord- Video
Today we're a 2017 Honda Accord. We're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris freedom platform style two bike rack. That's part number SA4412B. I've already got it loaded up on the Accord just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. It actually secures our bikes with three points of contact. Each of our wheel cradles have a strap that go over our wheel securing that in place. more

Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Honda Accord- Video
Today on our 2013 Honda Accord we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Freedom Superclamp. This is a platform-style 2-bike rack. It's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Part number on it is SA4025. Now to begin our test fit we just slide the shank of the Superclamp into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we do this we'll line up our threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. Once those are in line with each other we're going to take our provided bolt and we'll thread that in. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Accord we're going to do a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Traveler 4-Bike Rack. This is a tilting and folding style rack. It's been designed for use with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches. Part number on it is HR8500. We're going to be installing this in a Class 1 hitch today. Please keep in mind that when doing that you're going to limit your capacity to just two bikes. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Accord we're going to be doing a test fit on the Sport Rack folding and tilting 3-bike rack. Now they've designed this so we can use it with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. Part number on it is SR2403. This is also available in a 4-bike configuration if you prefer it that way. Part number on that is SR2404. Now on our Accord today we've just got a class one hitch installed. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Accord we're going to be doing a test fit on the Swagman Titan. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. They've designed it so we can use it with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. The part number on it is S63410. Today on our Accord we've got a class one hitch, and when using a class one hitch with the Titan or any other 4-bike rack for that matter, you will be limited to a 2-bike capacity, so please keep that in mind. To begin our test fit we're just going to slide the shank of the Titan right into the receiver tube of our hitch. We then want to line up our threaded hole with our hitch pinhole. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Accord we're going to be doing a test fit on the Saris Bike Porter. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. It's been designed for use with 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. The part number on it is SA404B. We're using a class one hitch today, so I want you to keep in mind that you will be limited to a 2-bike capacity when using this rack. If this is the only hitch you plan on using your Bike Porter in, the SA402B is a 2-bike configuration that may work out perfectly for you. To begin the test fit we're just going to slide the shank of the Bike Porter into the receiver tube of our hitch. more

Kuat Beta Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2010 Honda Accord- Video
Today on our 2010 Honda Accord, we'll be test fitting the Kuac Beta Folding Two Bike Rack, part number B202-114. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole, and install our pin in lock. Here at the rear of the shank, we'll tighten the hand knob to secure our bike rack to our vehicle and engage our anti-rattle device. Now we'll go over a fewclearance measurements. We have about twelve inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the bike rack to the rear of our Accord is about five and a half inches. We've added about fourteen inches to the overall length of our Honda. As you can see we can open the trunk without having to tilt away our bike rack. If we would like to tilt the rack away from our vehicle, we can pull the safety pin at the base of our carrier and allow it to tilt away. Put the mast back in its upright position and the pin ring installed, we can pull the pin at the top of the mast to swing out the dual arms. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2010 Honda Accord- Video
Today on this 2010 Honda Accord well be test fitting the Thule Vertex Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier part number TH9029. To mount this carrier into our vehicle, well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, well line up our hitch pinholes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down using a wrench. Next well go over some clearance measurements. Weve got about 9 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground. We got 2 inches of clearance between the closest part of the vehicle and the closest part of the carrier. Overall, weve added about 13 inches of additional length to the rear of the vehicle when the carrier arms are folded down. more

All right, today on this 2010 Honda Accord, we're going to do a test fit of part number S63410 from Swagman. This is their Titan Bicycle Rack. A few things to know about this bike rack that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2. This will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacers. One other thing to remember also is that when you use this bicycle rack with a class 1 receiver hitch, you're limited to carrying just two bicycles and that's what we'll be working with today. SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2010 Honda Accord- Video
Today on our 2010 Honda Accord well be test fitting the Sportrack 2 Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier part number A30901. To mount the carrier to our vehicle, well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, well line up our hitch pinhole then thread in our anti-rattle bolt. Well tighten it down using our wrench and move on to take some clearance measurements. We got about 10 inches of clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground. We have 7 inches of clearance between the closest part of the bike rack and the closest part of the vehicle. Overall, weve added about 24 inches of additional length to the rear of the vehicle. more

Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2010 Honda Accord- Video
Today, we're working with a 2010 Honda Accord and we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series Q Slot Platform Style Bike Carrier, part number PS63134. To mount the carrier to our vehicle, we'll insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin holes, feed in our pin and secure it with a clip on the other side. Next, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We've got about 10 inches of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the bike rack. We've got about 8-1/2 inches of clearance between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the vehicle. more

Today on this 2010 Honda Accord, were going to do a test fit of part number S102. This is the Sherpa Bicycle rack from Kuat. A few things to know about this bicycle rack is that it will work with 1 receiver hitches both class one and class two and this will also work with 2-inch receiver hitch with the included spacer. Today well be working with the class 1 receiver hitch. Well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then well go ahead and install the pin and the lock, then well go ahead and tighten the anti-rattle knob, then well go ahead and get some clearance measurements. With the bike rack folded up, this closest point to the bumper will be 1 inches. more

One quick note about this bike rack is that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class I and class II and this will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the provided spacer. Now, we'll go ahead and start our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch. Well tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and put the lock on the other side. Alright, next well go ahead and give you some measurements on clearance between the bike rack and the car. As closest point to the bumper, we're looking at 3-3/4 inches. more

Alright, today on this 2009 Honda Accord were going to do a test fit of part number RG8015220 from Rhode Gear. This is the Highway 2 Bike Carrier. Ok, well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then well go ahead and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. One quick note about this bike rack is that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class I and class II and also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the provided spacer. Now, I'll give you some measurements on clearance between the bike rack and the car. Between the bumper and the bike rack will be 6-1/4 inches, ground clearance will be 9-3/4 inches. more

Rhode Gear Highway Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Honda Accord- Video
Today, we're going to show you how the Rhode Gear Highway 2 Bike Carrier, product number RG8015220, looks and fits on our 2011 Honda Accord. Our Honda Accord is equipped with an aftermarket inch and a quarter class 2 trail hitch so we'll need to remove the 2-inch adapter from our Rhode Gear rack. To install the rack, we simply insert the shank of the rack into the receiver of the hitch. We'll line up the threaded hole in the rack with the pin hole in our hitch, and install the anti-sway bolt and tighten it down. After we tightened down our anti-rattle bolt, we'll go ahead and install our safety clip. With the rack now installed, we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements. more
